Getting started

To scan an image:

1. Open Contact Scanner
2. Tap Camera to scan live, or Photos to choose an existing image
3. Extracted phone numbers, emails, addresses, and websites appear as cards
4. Tap Save on any card to add it to your iOS Contacts

Quick actions on each card:

• Call — dial the number
• Text — open Messages with the number pre-filled
• Email — compose an email in Mail
• Save — save to iOS Contacts
• ⭐ — mark as a favorite for quick access later

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the app need camera and photo access?

To scan for contact information. Camera is used for live scanning; photo library access is used when you pick an existing image. All processing happens on your device — nothing is uploaded.
